WowRentals is proud to introduce SONOMA LODGE to our portfolio of Sensational Vacation Estates. New to our program as of October 2020, Sonoma Lodge is in pristine condition. SONOMA LODGE is a custom-built luxury cabin with all the details and touches expected from discerning guests. The great room is open and spacious with two-story windows and high, vaulted ceilings that creates a space that encourages friends and family to gather and engage. The bi-folding doors in the living room can open wide to bring the mountain-fresh air into the cabin and expand the living space to the front deck with views of mountains and ski slopes. Cozy up to the large stone-covered gas fireplace. The gourmet kitchen has a mountain-modern flare with custom quartz counter tops and farmhouse sink, cutting island, stainless steel appliances, and walk-in pantry. Eat breakfast at the breakfast bar, or sip coffee on the large outdoor decks. Custom alderwood cabinets and doors throughout, custom rustic corrugated steel entry, antler chandelier, pool table, wet bar, wine fridge, custom granite and stone backslash on sinks. The bathrooms are all custom, featuring stone vessel sinks, tile floors and jetted tub, solid rock wall treatments are also in the master bathroom. Other features include a whole-house sound system and a coffee table that fold out into an extra bed. Conveniently located, Sonoma Lodge is located between Snow Summit Ski Resort and Bear Mountain Just about 2 miles form each. Walk across the street about 50 yrds to the shuttle stop for Bear Mountain Ski Resort. Restaurants and bars area located within a few miles of Sonoma Lodge with grocery stores about 2 miles away.

THE MASTER BEDROOM offers a comfortable king-sized bed and ensuite with a shower and soaking tub. For families with small children a futon is also available in the Master suite.

BEDROOM 2 provides a comfortable queen plus a twin-over-twin bunk. A room perfect for a family.

BEDROOM 3 has a queen bed, plus a twin-over-twin bunk. It is a comfortable space for children and adults with easy access to the kitchen and shared bathroom.

LIVING ROOM has a coffee table that folds out into a full size bed.

THE KITCHEN is a cook's dream, with updated appliances and stocked with all the tools of the trade including blenders, mixers, pots and pans, and utensils. The kitchen opens to the great room and has views of the mountains where Chefs can create their magic while staying connected with the other guests. A breakfast bar provides a platform for easy conversation and feeding hungry kids.

Living Room: Full-sized coffee table fold-out bed

This property allows a maximum of 3 vehicles with garage access.

Per city rules, no amplified music permitted that can be heard from the property line. No use of hot tub after 10pm. No street parking. Guests can receive city fines for violations of city ordinances.

PETS: Dogs, cats and other pets are NOT permitted at this property

AMENITIES: We provide only the finest luxury amenities that include: spa-quality towels, high thread-count linens, spa soap, shampoo conditioner and lotion, and quality paper products.

ADDITIONAL INFO: High-speed WIFI access is provided. Parking is available for 2-3 cars, in the driveway. This cabin is in excellent condition.

WINTER WEATHER: From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle. If stopped by the highway patrol, they will ask to see them. Weather can change quickly in Big Bear and significant snow can stop traffic and delay commutes to and around the Big Bear area. Watch the weather forecast and plan your trip accordingly. WowRentals does not provide refunds for winter weather conditions. During winter snowstorms, we will try our best to plow driveways as quickly as possible, but road conditions can slow down our ability to access many properties. Winter weather can create treacherous conditions. Drive safe and be prepared.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: All guests, regardless of booking direct or through third party channels will be required to read and sign a rental agreement with the property manager. The property was excellent! Plenty of open space, sunshine gets in easily, and we appreciated all the pillows and blankets in the closets. In addition, kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary tools to bake and cook. There was a small issue with the heating system, it did not distribute heat evenly throughout the house. The main bedroom and restrooms were really hot while the first floors were cold throughout.

This place was amazing. The pictures are exactly what it looks like. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and close to the slopes. Watching the snow fall through the floor to ceiling windows was awesome. The games were so fun, and we had an amazing time.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation can be made 30 days prior to the reservation start date. All cancellations (including shortened stays) are refundable (minus cancellation fees of 8%) if a cancellation notice is received greater than thirty (30) days before your scheduled check-in date. Cancellations that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full Reservation Amount unless rental unit is rebooked for the exact dates as your reservation. No refunds or credits are provided for Covid-19 related travel restrictions or active infections in Guests or their party. COVID-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected and Guests should make decisions to travel and book vacation rentals based on current and potential risks as well as their own level of comfort with situations that could persist or evolve at the time of the reservation dates.

All cancellation must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and all cancellations must be confirmed by WowRentals in writing as well. All Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 8% of total reservation. Cancellations due to weather, acts of nature, or environmental factors are not subject to refund or credits. WowRentals does not offer refunds due to mechanical/electrical failure or malfunctions with hot tubs, televisions or other appliances or equipment. Deposit Policy
A Reservation Deposit equal to 50% of the rental rate is required to reserve your vacation rental. Reservation Deposit will be charged to your credit card during the booking process. The Reservation Deposit will be applied toward the total reservation fee. Reservation Deposit is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (60) days before your scheduled check-in date. The BALANCE OF RENT will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 60 days prior to check-in date. If reservation is made within 60 days of your scheduled check-in date, then entire payment and fees are due at the time of the reservation.
