Wowrentals would like to inform you that Spartan Returns to Big Bear Lake on May 19-20, 2018 with a Beast and Sprint Weekend.
Care to take a guess why ski areas make such great venues for Spartan Races? Hills! You won’t be short on elevation gain during this race. Taking place on Snow Summit Mountain the race can access elevations as high as 8,200 ft and take you back down 1,200 ft of vertical drop.
You’ve never faced obstacles like this before. Spartan Race Big Bear is May 19 and 20 at Snow Summit where thousands of athletes converge to test their stamina and skill in one of three categories.
On Saturday, May 19, highly-skilled athletes take on the Spartan Beast, a 12-14 mile race with more than 30 signature Spartan obstacles. The Beast tests not only endurance, perseverance and grit, but also the mind.
The Spartan Sprint on Sunday, May 20, is a 3-5 mile sprint with more than 20 signature Spartan obstacles.
Both days feature Spartan kids races with half-mile, 1-mile and 2-mile courses.

Those who are watching the racers can enjoy the Scenic Sky Chair and basecamp activities including a zip line, climbing wall, Eurobungee and quick jump (all for an additional $15 add-on to your spectator ticket). Stop by 20 activation booths for swag, branded gear and more. Finish the day with a jam session at the DJ stage.
