Newly added to our portfolio of luxury homes, Lakefront Lodge on Metcalf Bay (formerly "Suite Lakefront") is a sensational Big Bear estate that offers spacious, highly upgraded accommodations that will help create a memorable lakefront experience. Lakefront Lodge is a luxury custom cabin with direct access to Big Bear Lake and views that fuel relaxation and catalyze the creation of memories. Within a quick walk to Holloway's Marina and a few minutes’ drive to the ski slopes, shopping, or entertainment, Lakefront Lodge is ideally located. A fabulously furnished estate, with an open floor plan, the upper entry-level offers a dining area, cozy living room, and a pool table with incredible lake and mountain views. The spacious gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials for cooking including cookware, high-end appliances, and breakfast bar seating.
The outside deck on the first floor provides a 180-degree view of the lake with dining table, BBQ, and hot tub to relax and take in the views. Out the backdoor you will find 100 feet of shoreline on the lake. With the lake down, the private boat dock cannot be used this year, however, we are offering a free slip for your boat at the neighboring Holloway's Marina, just a short walk from the house. In the summer the house also provides AC Units for three bedrooms, perfect for the warm summer days.
Lakefront Lodge has four bedrooms which can accommodate 14 persons in beds. There are two large and private master suites with private bathrooms and a bunk room for the kids. Wow Rentals provides high quality towels and linen for use during your stay.

PETS: Dogs are only allowed at designated pet-friendly properties. A Pet Fee of $100 per pet will be charged. There is a maximum of two (2) dogs per property where allowed. No other types of pets are permitted. A pet deposit pre-authorization of $500 will be held for 30 days after check-out inspection
Amenities include high-speed wireless internet, pima cotton towels, 500 threads count clean sheets, soap and shampoo, and new cabin themed bedding throughout the house. The mattresses are brand new.

WINTER WEATHER: From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle. If stopped by highway patrol they will ask to see them. Weather can change quickly in Big Bear and significant snow can stop traffic and delay commutes to and around the Big Bear area. Watch the weather forecast and plan your trip accordingly. WowRentals does not provide refunds for winter weather conditions. During winter snow storms, we will try our best to plow driveways as quickly as possible, but road conditions can slow down our ability to access many properties. Winter weather can create treacherous conditions. Drive safe and be prepared.
NOTE ON LAKE LEVELS: As of 4/15/18 the lake is currently 15 feet down from full capacity. The decreased water level has left the dock at this property, unusable for lake activities. The lake is still useable and accessible and always a ton of fun, however, shallow areas such as where our dock is, it does not permit its use. The price quoted includes the cost of a slip at one of the local marinas if you desire to bring a boat. We have adjusted the nightly rate down by about 20% to reflect the lake levels. We do not expect this low water condition to correct itself unless we get an unusual amount of spring/summer rain. Please call us with any questions.

This house had beautiful view and It’s in very quiet neighborhood. The water level was low but we could walk around the lake with our dogs.
We could enjoy our vacation with our dogs during this stay.

In short, great trip. The lodge was big, clean, and well furnished and stocked. We had 7 adults and 7 kids and had plenty of room. Only negative thing to say was we couldnt get get the internet/wifi to work; although in hindsight, it was good to "unplug." I would also add it wasnt for lack of effort by Property Manager; they tried numerous times to help (including Thanksgiving morning). All in all, very pleased with the experience and would stay again.

Beautiful property with all of the amenities! We stayed here with two other families and our children. The house is spacious and clean with plenty of room for our families. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house is elegant but comfy. Location is close to the lake and mountain, as well as downtown area. Can't miss rental!

All cancellations (including shortened stays) are fully refundable if cancellation notice is received greater than sixty (60) days before your scheduled check-in date. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full Reservation Deposit unless rental unit is rebooked for the exact dates as your reservation. All cancellation must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and all cancellations must be confirmed by WowRentals in writing as well. All Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to $75 or 5% of total reservation, which ever is greater. Cancellations due to weather, acts of nature, or environmental factors are not subject to refund. WowRentals does not offer refunds due to mechanical/electrical failure or malfunctions with hot tubs, televisions or other equipment.

A Reservation Deposit equal to 50% of the rental rate is required to reserve your vacation rental. Reservation Deposit will be charged to your credit card during the booking process. The Reservation Deposit will be applied toward the total reservation fee. Reservation Deposit is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due sixty (60) days before your scheduled check-in date. The BALANCE OF RENT will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 60 days prior to check-in date. If reservation is made within 60 days of your scheduled check-in date, then entire payment and fees are due at the time of the reservation.
