THE HIDDEN ESTATE - This custom built estate is in the centrally located Fox Farm neighborhood of Big Bear Lake which is ideal for both privacy and proximity to stores and attractions. The Hidden Estate is just 4 minutes from both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit Ski Resorts and just 2 minutes from the lake. Grocery stores and restaurants are less than 2 minutes away, while the village is about 4 minutes. Furnished and decorated with quality cabin amenities in December of 2018, this 3,500 square foot vacation estate provides open living spaces to share with family and numerous secluded nooks to read a book, which you can select from the hundreds of books provided, or you can escape for some privacy. The immense backyard of the Hidden Estate includes an extra large deck with a new propane BBQ and an Alfresco Smoker for your choice of preparing your meats or freshly caught fish. Outdoor patio furniture, inclusive of a large dining table suited for dinner or relaxing in the warmth of spring and summer mountain air. A perfectly placed, top of the line hot tub is also outside on the patio and provides for stunning views. In winter, the backyard can transform in to a winter wonderland with perfect, private sledding hills in almost 1.5 acres of pine tree covered landscape.
FIRST FLOOR - You can enter The Hidden Estate from either the 3+ car garage or via the entry porch with a covered, wrap-around deck. The first floor has an inviting and spacious open kitchen and living room with leather couches and easy access to the back deck, hot tub and expansive backyard. Three bedrooms are on the first floor including the master bedroom with queen sized bed, private gas fireplace, walk0in closet, and large bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and bedroom #3 has a twin over full bunk bed. A crib is available for the downstairs area if needed. Also on the first floor is the state-of-the-art movie room with an oversized, cozy, loungy couch to curl up on and watch your favorite movie in front of the 75" 4K HDTV. Choose from a wide variety of film titles provided or use your own Netflix or Amazon Prime account to watch streamed movies. Next to the dining room is a Pool Table room with its own HDTV, taxidermy collection, and easy access to the back deck and hot tub.
SECOND FLOOR - Walk up the open stairs to the breezeway to find a new, top-of-the-line foosball table, ready for some interfamily competition. In total, the second level has four with one that doubles as a private game room & wet bar. Down the hall is bedroom 4, built for the kids with two twin over twin log-style bunk beds, a 50" HDTV and an XBOX for romper room fun. Bedroom 5 has a queen sized bed, a 50" HDTV and lots of windows with blinds for choosing a sunlit room or coverage for a night of slumber. Bedroom 6 has a full sized bed as well as a 50" HDTV. Bedroom 7 features a twin over full (futon) bunk bed, as well as a wet-bar, 4K HDTV a card table that doubles as a bumper pool table and wall-sized scrabble, as well as an assortment of other top games.
Most of the Bedroom have 50" HDTV or bigger with DirecTV.

PETS: Dogs are only allowed at designated pet-friendly properties. A Pet Fee of $100 per pet will be charged. There is a maximum of two (2) dogs per property where allowed. No other types of pets are permitted. A pet deposit pre-authorization of $500 will be held for 30 days after check-out inspection
Amenities include DirecTV, high-speed wireless, plush towels and clean sheets, soap and shampoo, and new cabin bedding throughout the house. All of the mattresses are brand new.

WINTER WEATHER: From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle. If stopped by highway patrol they will ask to see them. Weather can change quickly in Big Bear and significant snow can stop traffic and delay commutes to and around the Big Bear area. Watch the weather forecast and plan your trip accordingly. WowRentals does not provide refunds for winter weather conditions. During winter snow storms, we will try our best to plow driveways as quickly as possible, but road conditions can slow down our ability to access many properties. Winter weather can create treacherous conditions. Drive safe and be prepared.

This house is AMAZING. I have been to Big Bear many times over the years and have never been impressed with any of the available hotels/cabins, etc. I assumed the luxury options did not exist in the area.
This home is very large and modern with so many fun amenities. There is a sledding hill in the back, a movie theater room, a game room (poker, scrabble, wet bar) and pool table room. It’s a perfect retreat for a large family or a large group of friends .
It’s very close to the skiing resorts and also conveniently close to a Vons Grocery Store, Starbucks and Jersey Mike.
We try to go to Big Bear every winter – and I really hope this home is avail next time we go!

Beautiful home in a perfect mountain setting. This home was incredibly well appointed and thoughtfully decorated. The property wants for nothing. Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. All in all it really feels like home here!

I took my family up to Big Bear for a little vacation and couldn’t possibly be more impressed with our accommodations. This house was super cozy and well put together. Close to the slopes as well as restaurants, but when we got back to the house, it felt very private. Excellent getaway spot and will for sure be coming back again very soon!!

The Hidden Estates" is situated down a quiet lane with a large wooden moose statue at the entrance of the lane - the moose is holding a sign that reads, "The Hidden Estates". We've arrived :)!
Our family had been looking forward to traveling to Big Bear for some time and our experience was magical!
The property has a large front yard at the end of the lane, safe for the kids to run and play. The backyard has a comfortable deck where we BBQ our meals and relaxed in the hot tub. The beds were comfortable, with new bedding and delightful décor. With a restful night sleep, we were ready for a full day of fun activities, and to explore Big Bear. The village, which is close to the property, was a fun way to start our day! Our family enjoyed going to the local coffee shops, to treat ourselves to a warm beverage, while anticipating the excitement of our day! So much to do...hiking, biking and the lake (skiing is close by in the winter when there is snow). Not to mention, the fresh mountain air - amazing!
At the end of the day, it was always nice going back to "The Hidden Estates," where we could unwind and feel at home. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and come together as a family. Although, occasionally we ate at one of the many local restaurants, which was always delicious!
Even though it was just our family this trip, "The Hidden Estates" is large enough that we plan to go back with a couple of families and share this hidden gem. Next time, we may plan our trip during the winter months to enjoy the snow park and ski slopes...located only minutes from the property.
"The Hidden Estates" will definitely be our destination for future stays in Big Bear - can't wait to go back!! Thank you 🙂

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Estate. The name is correct and it's a stunning property that is tucked away off the main road. Once you get back to the house, it goes on forever, both the house and the property! There are so many bedrooms and places to hang out for both kids and adults. Property is very thoughtfully furnished and you can tell there was a lot of attention to detail. The interior of the house feels very clean and fresh which can be hard to find in the area. The location also cannot be beat as you are super close to the village and skiing.
