Property Details

First-time rental and new to our program as of July 2021. This brand new renovated house features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Only 3 miles to the Coachella Music Festival and Stagecoach venue and surrounded by golf courses. The first floor features the main living area, dinning area kitchen as well as a bedroom 5 with 1 queen size bed, and 1 full bed/trundle, and a bathroom. You have access to the relaxing backyard which includes a pool, hot tub, fire pit, corn hole set, and a built-in BBQ and many places to lounge in the sun or the shade if you prefer. Four more bedrooms including the Master Bedroom, with en-suite and private balcony, are located on the second floor. The converted garage houses a theater with 85 inch screen, reclining theater chairs, ad bean bags. Parking for 4 cars is available in the driveway.

Indio Escape is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and peaceful enjoyment of the property and community is expected and required. No parties, no loud get-togethers, no music out side, no smoking inside or outside. Enjoy the house, the pool, and the property but you must keep things cool and quite!!

When looking at other properties in the Coachella Valley, be sure to ask the owner:
- Do I have to pay for pool heating or AC? The answer is "NO" at our home. Most others require $100-$200 per day fee
- Is the orientation of the back yard the ideal south facing direction to optimize sun exposure in the Winter and Minimize it in the summer? The answer is "yes, ideal south facing" for our home.
- Do they charge a security deposit that takes weeks to get back? We do not. No security deposits with WowRentals.
- How close is it to restaurants and shopping? This home is about a mile to HWY 111 where all the action happens.

Per city rules, no amplified music permitted that can be heard from the property line. No use of hot tub after 10pm. No street parking. Guests can receive city fines for violations of city ordinances.

This is a first time rental as of July 2021 that has never been rented previously. It is in pristine condition and ready to be enjoyed!

RENTAL AGREEMENT: All guests, regardless of booking direct or through third party channels will be required to read and sign a rental agreement with the property manager. Me and my group of friends were the first ones to stay at this Airbnb. Everything was beautiful, clean, and perfect until the first night. There was a leaky pipe from the master bedroom which lead to a leaky ceiling. I immediately called the Airbnb and WowRentals and they told me that they couldn't do anything for me till the next morning. During the night, water kept leaking and progressively got worse. At some point, part of the ceiling has fallen. The person I talked on the phone with while this whole situation was going on was rude and continued to yell at me to "focus at the job at hand."
The next morning, they sent a handyman to check on the pipe, ceiling, damage, etc. He informed me that there was nothing on our end that could have prevented this and stated that we could stay for the duration of our stay. Half an hour later, I received a call from the Airbnb owner asking us to vacate the property within the next hour. We had 3 nights worth of food and beverages in the fridge that we had to store away and all of our belongings to hold onto. We were forced out of the house and the only compensation that we received was a refund on the house. They did not help search for another Airbnb we could stay at or any compensation for kicking us out and leaving us on the streets. I had to scramble for the next hour trying to find a place to stay for the night. We eventually found a generally Airbnb owner who let us stay at his cabin in Big Bear, which was a two and a half hour drive away from out original Airbnb.
WowRentals offered us a small discount for the next time we visit, but I do not think I will be coming back any time soon. I also do not recommend WowRentals to anyone. The service was terrible. How can you kick out your guests and not help find them a place to stay?
P.S. We were told we were the first people to stay at this Airbnb and there was a bunch of Jack in the Box bags in the trash can and a frozen shake in the freezer when we arrived. Either they were lying or the people cleaning up the place before we got there did not do a great job.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation can be made 30 days prior to the reservation start date. All cancellations (including shortened stays) are refundable (minus cancellation fees of 8%) if a cancellation notice is received greater than thirty (30) days before your scheduled check-in date. Cancellations that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full Reservation Amount unless rental unit is rebooked for the exact dates as your reservation. No refunds or credits are provided for Covid-19 related travel restrictions or active infections in Guests or their party. COVID-19 and its consequences are no longer unforeseen or unexpected and Guests should make decisions to travel and book vacation rentals based on current and potential risks as well as their own level of comfort with situations that could persist or evolve at the time of the reservation dates.

All cancellation must be made in writing (email is acceptable) and all cancellations must be confirmed by WowRentals in writing as well. All Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equal to 8% of total reservation. Cancellations due to weather, acts of nature, or environmental factors are not subject to refund or credits. WowRentals does not offer refunds due to mechanical/electrical failure or malfunctions with hot tubs, televisions or other appliances or equipment. We highly encourage all guests to consider Trip Insurance or the purchase of our 48hr Cancellation Guarantee Plan.

Deposit Policy
A Reservation Deposit equal to 50% of the rental rate is required to reserve your vacation rental. Reservation Deposit will be charged to your credit card during the booking process. The Reservation Deposit will be applied toward the total reservation fee. Reservation Deposit is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (60) days before your scheduled check-in date. The BALANCE OF RENT will be automatically charged to the credit card on file 60 days prior to check-in date. If reservation is made within 60 days of your scheduled check-in date, then entire payment and fees are due at the time of the reservation.
